On a random Tuesday evening in May of 2021, we both found ourselves in a dive bar called The Bullpen -- across the street from Nationals Park.

Sean had just moved to the city and was catching a baseball game and Savannah was on a neighborhood walk with a friend before stopping in to watch the end of the Nats game.

When we sat down at the picnic table, Sean and his friend approached us and introduced themselves.

Sean explained that he had just moved into a building around the corner from the bar -- which happened to be the same building Savannah lived in.

We chatted for nearly two hours, almost forgetting that our friends were across the table from us (sorry Dave and Mel!)

We exchanged numbers and agreed to go out on a date a week later. After dinner and drinks at a local restaurant, we became inseparable. We joke that it was the longest first date ever since we saw each other nearly every day after.

Since that first night at The Bullpen, we've traveled to two countries, 19 states ... and well, North Dakota.

We can't wait to celebrate our marriage with you and start our next adventure.
